In times of big events and issues, we tend to forget the everyday people who have stories to tell. Technology is stealing from us the opportunity to just talk and to see in front of us; we may meet each other, but we don’t talk about our lives, needs, and troubles. The world is hidden in front of us. We don’t see that the people we pass by are real, with hopes and individual understanding. A lot of us are lonely in the crowd.

The following images are not about big, loud things. They are not about special heroes. These pictures are about individuals and about some ethical challenges visible on every street corner. They represent a call to sensitivity, a call to see each other.
