Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) is a global nonprofit that challenges future leaders to recognize and confront their ethical responsibilities by examining the roles and behaviors of individual professionals in Germany and elsewhere between 1933 and 1945 as an initial framework for approaching ethical responsibility in the professions today. 

At our annual Awards Dinner, we honor individuals, corporations, and FASPE alumni who have demonstrated the highest ethical standards in their fields.

As President and CEO of The Hastings Center, the world’s leading independent bioethics research institute, and a Senior Lecturer on Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Ravitsky has helped shape bioethics policy and practice across multiple countries and professions. Her scholarly work spanning genomics, reproductive technologies, end-of-life care, and the social implications of emerging biotechnologies has made her one of the most prominent and respected voices in bioethics today. 

Born and raised in Jerusalem and educated at the Sorbonne, the University of New Mexico, and Bar-Ilan University, Dr. Ravitsky brings an international perspective and depth of experience that resonates with FASPE's cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural approach — and a lifelong commitment to equipping the next generation of professionals with the framework to lead with integrity.

Jordyn Holman

2018 FASPE Journalism Fellow

DISTINGUISHED FELLOW AWARD

Jordyn Holman is a business reporter at The New York Times where she writes "Corner Office," a column that examines leadership and management in the C-Suites of the corporate institutions that are shaping the global economy, politics and culture. Holman’s work interrogates how power operates, often from the perspective of the changing dynamics of work, management, and diversity, in corporate America.

Her coverage of the #BuyBlack movement earned recognition from the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing and the National Association of Black Journalists. 

Jordyn practices ethical journalism from a position of great influence as she explores the ethical possibilities and limitations of capitalism in practice. She is a 2018 FASPE Journalism Fellow.
