Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) is a global nonprofit that challenges future leaders to recognize and confront their ethical responsibilities by examining the roles and behaviors of individual professionals in Germany and elsewhere between 1933 and 1945 as an initial framework for approaching ethical responsibility in the professions today.
At our annual Awards Dinner, we honor individuals, corporations, and FASPE alumni who have demonstrated the highest ethical standards in their fields.

Fred Marino has been part of FASPE's story from the very beginning—a founding board member whose belief in this organization, long before it had the reach and recognition it has today, helped make everything that followed possible.
Fred’s commitment to ethical leadership was cultivated through his Jesuit education at Georgetown University and continued to develop through his career in growing a multi-billion-dollar enterprise. His commitment to FASPE's mission—that the next generation of professionals must be equipped to lead with integrity—has never wavered.

Vardit Ravitsky has spent her career doing exactly what FASPE asks of its Fellows: bringing ethical rigor to the most consequential decisions professionals face, and insisting that those decisions be made with clarity, courage, and accountability.
As President and CEO of The Hastings Center, the world’s leading independent bioethics research institute, and a Senior Lecturer on Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Ravitsky has helped shape bioethics policy and practice across multiple countries and professions.
