FASPE Names Frederick Marino, Vardit Ravitsky and Jordyn Holman as 2026 Awards for Ethical Leadership Honorees
The honorees reflect FASPE’s focus on the responsibility professionals carry when their decisions shape institutions, industries and public life.
NEW YORK, NY — September 28, 2026 — FASPE will recognize Frederick Marino, Vardit Ravitsky and Jordyn Holman at its Annual Dinner and Awards for Ethical Leadership on November 9, 2026, in New York City. The annual event honors people who demonstrate ethical leadership through their professional choices, institutional influence and commitment to the public good.
FASPE prepares professionals to recognize and act on the ethical responsibilities that come with their roles. This year’s honorees show that responsibility in different ways: by building and guiding an institution, bringing ethical rigor to complex questions in medicine and society, and examining how today’s business leaders use power.
“Fred, Vardit and Jordyn each show what it means to use professional influence with care and accountability,” said David Goldman, founder of FASPE. “Their work reflects the judgment, courage and sense of responsibility that FASPE asks professionals to bring to the decisions they make.”
Frederick Marino has supported FASPE since its start in 2010. As a founding board member, he has provided long-term counsel, financial guidance and steady support to the organization and its leadership. FASPE will honor Marino for his role in helping build the institution and sustain its mission.
Vardit Ravitsky is President and CEO of The Hastings Center for Bioethics and a Senior Lecturer on Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her work addresses genomics, reproductive technologies, end-of-life care and the social implications of emerging biotechnologies. FASPE will recognize her contributions to bioethics policy, scholarship and public understanding.
Jordyn Holman, a 2018 FASPE Journalism Fellow, will receive the Distinguished Fellow Award, which recognizes a FASPE alum who demonstrates ethical leadership in their field. Holman is a business reporter at The New York Times and writes “Corner Office,” a column focused on leadership and management in major companies. Her reporting has also examined the #BuyBlack movement and the relationship between business, culture and public life.

FASPE’s mission is to promote ethical leadership among professionals. Its distinctive pedagogy examines the actions of professionals who, by choice and action, designed, enabled, and executed Nazi policies, creating a lens for understanding the importance of ethical leadership today.
